OUR MINISTRIES
The African Methodist Episcopal Church is a ministry for the equipping of the saints for the work of Christ, for the building up of the body of Christ so we all may come in the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to maturity, to the measure of the full stature of Christ.

The Steward Board
The Pastor appointed by the Bishop to a local church shall appoint the members of the Steward Board. All Stewards serve for a one year term. They are confirmed at the Quarterly Conference by the Presiding Elder annually. The Stewards serve as the Pastor's cabinet and provide care for the Pastor and his family. They are also responsible for the over all religious experience of the church.They manage the temporal concerns of Bethel. The members must know and love the African Methodist Episcopal doctrine and discipline.
